Story Behind My OC
Lilia is one of my more recent original characters, created in late 2020. I’ve always wanted to design a new female character, but it was something I found pretty difficult. I imagined a girl with a delicate heart, torn by something she doesn’t fully understand. Her story takes place in a different world from my main OC, Hyou.
After many sketches (and scrapped ideas), I finally came up with a simple design for her. Lilia was inspired by one of my favorite flowers, the lily. It symbolizes both beauty and death. She embodies that quiet contrast: strength and softness, perseverance and mystery. Some of my inspiration also came from the mood and feeling of the game NieR. I wanted to create something with that same kind of lonely, fragile world.
Lilia is still growing as a character, and her story isn’t fully written yet. But I hope you’ll come to like her as much as I do.

Lilia wakes in a cold, empty world with no memory of who she is or where she came from. The only clue is the field of lilies where she lies; delicate and still.
Lilia is a quiet presence, born from the contrast between beauty and fragility. She carries a soft melancholy, as if she's always drifting between two worlds. There’s a gentle strength in her eyes, a sense that she’s endured more than she lets on.
Lilia wonders if she’ll ever discover who she truly is…or what her place in this world is meant to be.
